today was the first time ive ever been almost hit by a car on my bike. the worst part was the awkwardness after the car had slammed on its brakes and i jumped off my bike. we just looked at each other with no expression and then went our ways. we both ran solid yellow if not red lights so i dont know whose fault it would have been. anyways, this day seems to be starting off just great

this is a very bad trend...
I once had a similar experience south of the Y, only I was the motorist and the cyclist was actually a scooterist. Also, turns out I knew him. That would've been an even bigger bust.
Motor Vehicle Accidents are my thing. Be original Dane.
